Hello love,

Remember the time when we were in design colleges or engineering and trying hard to get motivated to do something new crazy which actually solve the problems of lifestyle without harming the environment but we ended up making a hypothetical project. As a designer we have forgotten what it actually means to design, it not just a design, it to evolve and trying to find a solution of small issues which we ignore in our day to day life. So please welcome MR. Narayana Peesapati a man who has found an ECO - FRIENDLY solution for plastic spoons and fork, who was aware of the harmful effects of plastic, not only to the environment but also to our health. Story: It as a regular day when he got a plastic spoon with a meal of idli and sambar for himself and realized that the spoon was still greasy and seemed to be reused and it is done on daily basis and we all are aware of the fact that plastic has so many harmful chemicals into it.

Well, that was the time when he came up with the revolutionary solution, A product which is made of flours with absolutely no chemicals or preservatives and are just flours kneaded with water and are 100% natural.

BAKEYS’ was established in 2010 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Bakey’s manufactures edible cutlery, including spoons in different shapes and chopsticks which is made from a mix of jowar (sorghum), rice and wheat flour. The spoons and chopsticks do not get soggy if placed in water and food.
